Риторика архитектуры в византийском контексте: пример храма Гроба Господня

Аннотация

В данной статье исследуется риторический потенциал архитектуры, точнее – «риторика архитектуры», а не обычно изучаемая «риторика об архитектуре». В этой работе риторика архитектуры понимается как кодифицированные визуальные и архитектурные конвенции, как серия транспозиций, которые формируют определённые значения, отличные от видимых и пространственных. Предполагаемая здесь «риторика архитектуры» к тому же связана в большей степени с её способностью выступать в качестве «мнемонического инструмента» и «ремесла композиции», а не с убеждением других или репрезентацией, основанной на точном сходстве. Эта концепция особенно важна при создании священного. Сосредоточившись на архитектуре важнейшего здания – храма Гроба Господня, окружавшего гробницу Христа в Иерусалиме и описанного патриархом Фотием в IX веке и игуменом Даниилом в начале XII века, эта статья выдвигает доводы в пользу признания мнемонических связей, которые византийцы, видимо, использовали не только для запоминания Гроба Христа, но и для нескольких реконструкций самого храма Гроба Господня в Иерусалиме, а также для воплощения значений Иерусалима и Нового Иерусалима в своих церквах, построенных в иных местах.
