If plagiarism is identified, the COPE guidelines on plagiarism will be followed. If plagiarism is found in the text after its publication, the editors have the right to initiate the retraction procedure of such an article. In addition, the editors recommend that the authors avoid excessive and unjustified self-citation.

The editors of the journal, adhering to the standards of academic ethics, protect the reputation of the authors and takes seriously all the facts of plagiarism. Cases of plagiarism violate the rights of authors; accusations of plagiarism have a negative impact on the researcher's career. In such cases, the editors use a system of procedures to adequately respond to accusations of plagiarism.

In order to ensure objectivity, the editorial board thoroughly examines each case of plagiarism and considers the arguments of all interested parties. Before drawing conclusions and taking specific actions, the editorial board seeks to obtain the most accurate information from the authors of the disputed publication or copyright owners and examines it. The decision of the editorial board is impartial, objective and not subject to external influence.

The editorial board reserves the right not to respond to allegations of plagiarism if the prosecutor provides inaccurate information about himself or herself or acts in an unethical or threatening manner. The editorial board is not obliged to discuss cases of alleged plagiarism with persons not directly related to it.
